As we enter the dog days of summer, we are excited to share some fantastic news and events with #OurSCSU community!
Homecoming 2026 registration is now open! From the Homecoming Harvest Celebration and Honors 60th Anniversary Cocktail Hour, to the #OurSCSU Gala, Nursing 25th Anniversary Celebration, volleyball games, swim and dive meets, and so much more — there will be something for everyone! For alumni who graduated in a year ending with 1 or 6, join us for your Alumni Reunion Reception! We can't wait to welcome everyone to campus and hope you'll join us September 30 through October 3 for all the fun. Right before Homecoming 2026, we'll host Sean Astin as our first guest in the Bennett D. Melin Family University Speakers Series! Astin is known from roles in "Rudy," "The Goonies," "Stranger Things" and the "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, among many other titles. He will be on campus September 24 to discuss mental health, and we are pleased to share that registration is now open for SCSU alumni and friends! As a reminder, the 2026 Alumni Survey is now open. We hope all our alumni will fill it out if they haven't already. We are listening, and your voice matters! The survey is open through the end of October and you can fill it out by clicking here.
